Strictly necessary only
The app keeps your sign in session in your browser storage so you are not asked to log in on every page. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout pages to process your payment and prevent fraud. Both are strictly necessary, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they do not need your consent.
Advertising and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. If that ever changes we will ask for your consent first and list the cookies here.
What else we store on your device
We measure how many people reach each step of signing up, so we know where the app is confusing. To do that we store one random number in your browser storage. It is not a cookie, it holds no name, email or address, it is not shared with anyone, and it cannot be used to recognise you on any other website. Clear your browser storage and it is gone.
We also store the app files themselves so the app opens when you have no signal.
Clearing them
Signing out removes your session. You can clear the rest through your browser settings, though you will need to sign in again. Questions to andy@bluelightleavers.com.
